secularaaottawa.org exists to help alcoholics and people seeking information about secular Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, resources, and service in Ottawa and beyond.

Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. The information on this site is provided as a service resource, not as professional medical, legal, counselling, or emergency advice.

Secular AA Ottawa is an AA group/service resource, but this website is not operated by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc., AA Grapevine, Inc., the General Service Office, Ottawa Area Intergroup, or any other AA service body unless clearly stated.

We respect anonymity as a foundation of AA. Please do not send us another person's full name, photo, phone number, email address, or recovery status without their consent.

Personal stories submitted for publication should use first names, initials, or another anonymity-preserving form unless the author explicitly asks otherwise.

If you use a contact form, newsletter signup, or meeting contact feature, we collect the information you choose to submit so we can respond, route a meeting update, or send requested updates.

Contact form messages may be sent to the site contact or to the trusted meeting contact responsible for the meeting you selected. Newsletter signup information is processed through our mailing-list provider.
